Stop in and enjoy the classic ambiance of The Waterfront's Tavern and Lounge. The Tavern features its own menu including appetizers and small bites. With its unique selection of beers, wines, and liquors, The Waterfront's bar is truly one-of-a-kind.

The antique bar is the focus of the tavern and holds an interesting history. The grand oak bar was commissioned to be built in 1918 for G. Heileman Brewery. However, upon its completion in 1923 in Coon Valley, WI, prohibition had struck and the brewery deemed the bar useless. It remained in Coon Valley and eventually became a part of Stockmen’s Inn restaurant until 2005, when it was purchased for The Waterfront Restaurant. The bar was disassembled into 13 pieces and was refined and restored before moving it to the tavern here in La Crosse.
