A baby grand piano hosts a selection of music, including jazz, blues and rock variations in the piano lounge. Also enjoy live entertainment seasonally on the outdoor patio while taking advantage of the relaxing view of the river banks.

The antique back bar is the focus of the tavern and restaurant itself as it holds an interesting history. The grand oak bar was commissioned to be built in 1918 for G. Heileman Brewery. However, upon its completion in 1923 in Coon Valley, WI, prohibition had struck and the brewery deemed the bar useless. Its home remained in Coon Valley and eventually became a part of Stockmen’s Inn restaurant until 2005, when it was purchased to move to the anticipated Waterfront Restaurant. The bar disassembled in 13 pieces and was refined and restored before moving in to the tavern here in La Crosse.
